Math Distance Learning- A Rocky Career

The career I chose is geologist. Geologists are scientists who study the matter that makes up the Earth. They also study the Earth's history and the processes that have formed it. Geologists apply chemistry, biology, physics, and other sciences to their work in the field and research in laboratories. Median pay (annual): 89,700 USD, (2015). Median pay (hourly): 43.13 USD, (2015). A general geologist works with mineralogy, petrology, geological mapping, economic geology, and petroleum geology. Geological mapping consists of documenting geological formations on a map, such as rock patterns and distribution. There are many different types of geology: environmental, engineering, marine, planetary, economic, petroleum, geomorphologists, geophysicist, geohydrologist, and paleontologist.
